Here is the write up by CGTN: “The Zimbabwean government has embarked on strategic partnerships such as market access for smallholder farmers as well as command agriculture. The country has also launched a multimillion-dollar project in partnership with the World Food Programme. It will benefit mainly food-insecure rural communities, especially child-headed households. Nearly 42 percent of the country’s population is in need of food assistance. Recurrent droughts and flooding have been major factors contributing to the food insecurity in the country.”
